My Braid Out With Miss Jessie’s Curly Pudding

Hello world, it’s Friday. The last two days have been scorchers and my hair has been up in a bun all week. Last night I decided to try a braid out with Miss Jessie’s Curly Pudding. It worked fantastic!

I am not normally a huge fan of braid outs on myself. I’ve never even attempted a twist out. My hair is naturally curly, so they’re not really needed. But I do like plaiting it up at night to keep tangles away. Also, when I’ve been wearing buns for a week and am too lazy to wash, the braid out is a good idea.

This is the most luck I’ve had with any product used when doing a braid out. I usually find everything is too thick in my hair, but this was just right. I used the curly pudding on my dry hair, which honestly already had a lot of product in it from being slicked back and up into a top knot yesterday.

So, here is what I did. I sectioned hair off and made five plaits. I applied a generous amount of the curly pudding to each section before braiding each section. My hair will not just stay braided, so I secured each one with a small Goody hair band. Then I put on more curly pudding to slick down any fly a ways. Then I slept in the braids and just took them out.

Here is the result! The braid-out has plenty of shine and retained all of my length. Love it.

Hellooooo hair!

Wow…it’s my favorite for you! I tried the Curly pudding when I first started out with my natural hair-I didn’t like it.

Funny, because I do not really like it for just putting it in my hair and leaving it either. But it worked well for the braid out!
