Product Review: Design Essentials Nutriment Rx Creme Hairdress

My search for a moisturizing cream to use on dry hair (meaning not wet or damp) is over. I have found the product I was looking for in the first Design Essentials product I ever tried.

As you may remember, I was pretty bummed when My Honey Child discontinued its Caribbean Hair Creme. So I tried the Taliah Waajid Curly Curl Cream. That was too heavy for me.

So off to Ulta I went on a recent Sunday afternoon determined to find a product. In the store for what seemed like hours, I narrowed my choices down to two – the Design Essentials Nutriment Rx Creme hairdress and Mizani Coconut Souffle Light Moisturizing Hairdress.

Nutriment-RxAt about $10 the Design Essentials was half the price of the Mizani, so I decided to go with the more wallet-friendly products. I’m glad I did. This hairdress reminds me of pink lotion, and that is just what I was looking for.

It is less greasy than pink lotion though, so that is good. It gives my hair a lot of shine and luster and helps to loosen up the curls a couple of days after a wash.
