Honestly, it is probably the answer to your prayers if you suffer from dry hair. The sheen sealing nectar is the first
product I’ve tried from Dark and Lovely’s Au Naturale line and if the rest of them are as excellent as this, the creators are succeeding in creating a pretty good line of products.
Let’s be clear, I am a believer that Dark and Lovely makes some quality products for relaxed hair, so I am not surprised that a line created for natural hair would be of the equivalent quality.
This affordable hair oil gets four stars from me for a host of reasons, one being that a little goes a long way. Of course this can also be a downside of the product because if you spray too much on you co
uld end up with a greasy mess.
The product also smells wonderful and locks in moisture not only for hours but for days. If you distribute evenly through hair upon first applying you will not have to reapply for a few days. If your hair soaks up moisture you may have to apply more often.
So here is a quick fact for you. In case you did not know, L’Oreal owns the SoftSheen Carson brand which produces Dark and Lovely products. L’Oreal also recently came out with its own line of products for curly hair – the EverCurl line. The company is most definitely winning when it comes to capitalizing on black women’s move from relaxed to natural hair.
