The Hair at Style Evolutionized

Everywhere I go, it’s all about the hair, so why should a sunset fashion show be any different. For events like this you have two kinds of women – the kind that decides to brave the heat and totally bring it and the kind that gives in to the sun and humidity and goes au naturel with hair up in a generic bun.

Thank goodness for the ladies attending the Style Evolutionized fashion show yesterday who decided to go all out.

Some of the best style was displayed by these two ladies. Zakiya, with her twisted updo, and one of her besties with her straightened natural hair, showed natural hair’s versatility and looked oh so cool throughout the show. Other highlights of their outfits? Check out the necklaces and Zakiya’s blue earrings! Her shoes were amazing as well and I am truly saddened I did not get a picture of them.

Gorgeous ladies!

Natural hair was everywhere, and many of the models also rocked it. Check me out with some of the beautiful models and a natural attendee. The color she had was downright amazing.

Family was a key word at the fashion show as the models’ families came to support them.

These two were especially stylish in dresses from H&M and bone straight hair.

They came to support their sister who was walking in the show, but proved to be focal points themselves.

Mother/daughter style was also prominent. Janire Hopkins, a Stella & Dot stylist, enjoyed the show with her gorgeous daughter. Demonstrating the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree comes so easily to some.

The green necklace seen here is a stella & dot piece. Love the sunglasses on both ladies.

Of course, Shell B Cheri, the woman behind the fabulous outfits and unique concept of the show has some serious style of her own, including red, curly hair.

It takes a well-styled woman to help others with their own style.
