Product Review: Motions Natural Textures Define My Curls Creme

My sister gave me Motions Natural Textures Define My Curls Creme as a gift a while ago. I finally got around to using it last weekend after I took my twists out and washed my hair.

Motions is a brand known more for its products for relaxed hair and decided to develop a line for natural hair as it grew in popularity. The Natural Textures line includes nine products.

While some reviewers know the texture of the Define my Curles Creme, I did not mind it. The name is misleading and to better reflect the consistency they could describe it as a whipped gel instead of a creme, but this is a good product. Do not discount this hair care line just because Motions created it.

Me on wash day. I air dryed this time.

I am always looking for products that I can use on wet or dry hair and this is a good one. Last Saturday I washed my hair and deep conditoned with the Carol’s Daughter Tui Color Care Hydrating Hair Mask. I used Darcy’s Botanicals daily leave-in and the Define My Curls Creme.

This is my hair on the fifth day after washing. I've been using the curl creme and as you can see the definition is still good. I love the volume.

The creme left my hair soft and moisturized and and it has pretty much stayed that way throughout this week. I have applied some each morning and it does not cause tangles, fights frizz and has a very soft hold.

I personally haven’t gotten around to using any Motions products since I became natural, but your hair look amazing!
