Product Review: Pantene Pro-V 2-Minute Deep Conditioner

Pantene

I removed my Marley twists over the weekend (farewell, my friends) and so of course wash day was spectacular. So. Much. Hair. Was. Shed. That is always the deal though after removing braids. I tried a couple of new products for this wash day, but today I’m only reviewing the deep conditioner I used.

While in Target the day after Black Friday I spotted some deep conditioner from Pantene for curly hair. I’m all out of my Carol’s Daughter Tui¬†Moisturizing Hair mask which I usually deep condition with, so I was all for purchasing something cheaper. It is the first product I’ve tried from the Pantene “Curly Hair Series.”

All in all I really liked this deep conditioner. It did the job of moisturizing and worked as a detangler too. It was actually about the same thickness as the Tui Moisturizing hair mask – not too light and not too heavy. The smell was faint and not overbearing.

I believe this deep conditioner would leave all hair types feeling soft. While it is part of the Pantene curly hair series, it should also work on kinkier hair or hair with less curl definition, so if you are in the market for a new deep conditioner, this is probably a safe bet. At just a little over $6 a pop the price is right and the quality is high as is with other Pantene products I have tried. I purchased the conditioner at Target, but you can find it at any Wal-Mart or drug store as well.
