The Alikay Naturals Creme Brulee Curling Custard Review You’ve Been Waiting For

This review is definitely late, but over Memorial Day weekend I FINALLY tried the Alikay Naturals Creme Brulee Curling Custard/Delight. While I know all about the Alikay brand and have seen its owner Rochelle Graham at a few events, this was my first time trying any of the products. If all of the others are this magnificent everyone should go out and buy the entire line.

I initially purchased the custard because of its amazing smell. Don’t let the goopy texture and neon yellow color scare you. This stuff is amazing. To use it I did the following:

  1. Cowashed hair with L’Oreal EverCurl Hydracharge Cleansing Conditioner
  2. Detangled and applied Karen’s Body Beautiful Leave-in Conditioner
  3. Worked the curling custard through soaking wet hair using the shingling method
  4. Diffused hair

The results were beautiful curls and they lasted for over a week. I did use the curling custard itself to refresh a couple of times. I will definitely be using this again. It did not leave any flakes or residue and was really light. Of course the scent was a huge bonus.

Check out those curls! This was my first time experimenting with Alikay Naturals products and it was great.
