Product Review: ORS Shealicious Moisture Lock Hair Conditioning Cocktail

My hair has been super dry lately and I’m in search of something to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. It seems like I may have found the answer in the new ORS Shealicious Moisture Lock Hair Conditioning Cocktail. These handy little cocktails, which are packaged similar to yogurt, feature oil on one side of the packaging and cream on the other. To prepare and use, you simply pour the oil into the cream and stir. Then I applied to my damp hair and left it in for about 6 minutes. The label says to leave it in for five to ten minutes and then rinse out.

I have to say that the results were immediate and I’ve been getting compliments on how moisturized it looks since washing it on Friday. This cocktail was easy to use and did not require sitting under a dryer, which is of the utmost importance to me since I do not always have time to sit under a dryer and then get back in the shower to rinse it out.

I really liked this and will definitely purchae again. Each cocktail cost around $4.

The new ORS Shealicious line includes a total of three conditioning cocktails, including a scalp relief and shine booster cocktail in addition to the moisture lock one that I used. The line also includes a Moisture Leave-in Conditioning Spray and Cleansing Balm Sulfate-Free Hydrating Shampoo. Many that I’ve talked to say they have been unable to find the line. I purchased my cocktail, and saw all of the other products in the line, at my local CVS.

Did it occur to anyone this packaging might not have been the best choice? This looks too much like yogurt packaging. This is just as bad if not worse than the packaging of the Tide pods. Some careless person will leave this around a little child and it’s over.

LoriD, I think they chose the packaging because it is easy to mix the oil into the cream. I do not think kids will eat it, but i definitely get your point.
